Kalyanapuram S. Aravind
Kalyanapuram S. Aravind is an acclaimed Carnatic vocalist who left a software engineering career to devote himself fully to classical music. A premier disciple of Padmabhushan Madurai T.N. Seshagopalan, he is known for his structured raga alapanas, neravals, and emotionally expressive sahitya rendering. An All India Radio A-Grade artist, he has won the Music Academy's Best Vocalist Award, the Yuva Kala Bharathi, and the M.S. Subbulakshmi Fellowship. He teaches through the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara, anchoring international students toward their arangetram debuts and leading masterclasses on rhythm, voice culture, and the spiritual context of classical compositions.
